SM 2000 Series

The SM 2000 Machines utilize an Electronic Tooling Cassette. This cassette eliminates the need for most adjustments when changing to a different job. Other machine designs require time-consuming mechanical adjustments for feeding, crimp height, and replacement of parts. By simply inserting the tooling cassette, the machine automatically knows how much splice banding to feed for that particular connection. Crimp height adjustment is as easy as turning a dial. Our safety guard has a very low profile, allowing the operator to present the parts at a minimum distance. By design, it is virtually impossible to allow the operator’s hand into the working area of the press, ensuring a safe machine process. Also available is the SM 2000S, a slightly stronger version of the SM 2000 with a larger material range, and the SM 2000 Advanced, which has components located on the special movable work table fixture as well as an automatic performance option for splice crimping.
